This smart, warm and comfortable top is lined with "BLADENOMA" to give anti-slash, bite, tear, puncture and abrasion resistance to the highest level of any of the protective clothing in our range.

This sweater offers Level 5 blade cut resistance, the highest level achievable under EN388: 2003.

The zip up is ideal for social carers, paramedics, police or security staff who may feel threatened with knives , broken bottles or bites and pinches. The body and neck are fully lined  with Bladenoma and this warm and comfortable sweater is an absolute pleasure to wear and is completely covert.

Like all Bladerunner anti-slash clothing this item has been fully tested to ensure that it meets the relevant standards of EN388; 2003 by a recognised British test house with the following results:

BITE PROTECTION: This item has been tested for puncture resistance and has achieved level 3 which means that it can be described as bite protective clothing as it will also offer a level of protection against bites, scratches and pinches.  The level 4 tear resistance means that this top is extremely difficult to destroy either by the wearer or an attacker and can therefore save money, and embarrassment, in the long run. 

KNIFE PROTECTION: This product will help protect the wearer from slash type of injuries but is not classed as stab proof.  If you require full stab proof clothing then please take a look at our STAB PROOF BODY ARMOUR section
