Unlike most stab-proof vests our new 24 Joule is material thin, flexible and totally covert.

Most stab-proof vests are thick and uncomfortable and whilst they are almost always described as covert they are, in reality, far from it.

It is completely obvious when someone is wearing a stab-proof vest.

At Bladerunner we have totally re-thought the concept of covert stab-proof vests and designed a panel that is truly covert. Our new panel is designed to protect vital organs so whilst it does not provide 100% body coverage (No stab-proof vests do) it provides protection where it is most needed.

We sent our stab proof panels to Oregon Laboratories in the United States of America where they have the most advanced testing facilities for protective clothing.  The results have confirmed that our panels meet the full requirements to comply with NIJ Level 1 stab and spike resistance (CAST/HOSDB  KR1 and SP1). 

These plates have been designed to be worn with one of our two lightweight stab plate  carriers, available in BLACK or WHITE, which have pockets for a plate in the front and a plate in the back.  They can also be used in the pockets on any of our body armour to increase the knife protection level, where applicable.  As these plates made to the industry standard size of 25x31 they can fit in the pockets of most standard body armour.

These plates could also be strategically placed in a back pack, briefcase, or similar holder and be used as a shield as and when necessary.

Each panel weighs only 285 gms so 2 panels together with the panel carrier comes in at under 700 gms. Each panel measures 25 x 30 cms

Ideally you should wear one carrier with two plates, one in the front and one at the back but with our simple ordering process above you can cater this vest to your own needs and requirements.
