This jacket is the latest in IIIA bulletproof jacket design, specifically developed for press operating in hostile territory. Whilst this body armour is one of the lightest vests on the market it still offers excellent all round protection.

the ballistic insert material is fully tested and certified to NIJ level IIIa which will stop. 44 magnum and all lesser rounds. Level IIIa is the highest protection attainable with soft, flexible armour and there are front and rear pockets on this jacket for inserting hard armour, either ceramic or lightweight Famostone, to increase the protection level. The ballistic inserts are made from Aramid UD with on outer shell made from Nylon70D that is TPU coated and water resistant with welded seams, these are fitted into an outer, washable, shell that is Polyester 600D, ULY coated and also water resistant. 

This body armour features an expansive protection area whilst leaving plenty of room for manoverability and dexterity.

The press jacket is dark blue in colour and can be offered with removable, reflective 'PRESS' labels for the front and rear.

There is also a small pocket on the front of the vest ideal for the wearers phone, recorder, camera, note pad and pen, etc.
