The Bladerunner anti-slash scarf is now lined with a thicker aramid 'Bladenoma' to offer anti-slash, bite, tear, puncture and abrasion resistance to the highest level of any of the protective clothing in our range. This anti-slash and bite proof scarf has integrated pockets that will not only keep your hands protected and safe but will also keep them warm for those long and cold security shifts.
This scarf offers Level 5 blade cut resistance, the highest level achievable under EN388: 2003.
This is one of our most protective products offering very high protection but, at the same time, it is soft and comfortable to wear due to the fleece outer layers. it also offers protection against pinches and scratches
The beauty of the anti-slash scarf is it can be worn around the neck like any normal scarf but in a dangerous situation, it can be wrapped around your face, head or arms to provide even more protection to vital areas in the event of a knife or bite attack. The 'Bladenoma' lined pockets can be used to grab a blade.
Like all Bladerunner anti-slash clothing this item has been fully tested to ensure that it meets the relevant standards of EN388; 2003 by a recognised British test house with the following results:

BITE PROTECTION: This item has been tested for puncture resistance and has achieved level 3 which means that it can be described as bite protective clothing as it will also offer a level of protection against bites, scratches and pinches. The level 4 tear resistance means that this top is extremely difficult to destroy either by the wearer or an attacker and can therefore save money, and embarrasment, in the long run.
