THE WINDJAMMER JACKET lined with cut resistant fibre

These attractive, and very cool, jackets offer knife, slash, tear, bite and puncture resistance to give you the added confidence of knowing that this protective clothing is going to help keep you safe.

Providing a polyester softshell outer layer that is windproof and weatherproof as well as breathable. Extremely comfortable to wear and warm too. Absolutely perfect as protective workwear for those cold winter evenings or for when you are just enjoying yourself outside. 

The middle layer is the woven aramid fibre that offers the cut resistance as well as protection from bites, pinches and scratches and the inner layer is a fine mesh to keep you cool  and to protect the  aramid fibre from colour fading due to direct sunlight 

The Bladerunner Windjammer has three outer pockets, all secured with zips, and two inner pockets, made from synthetic leather, to hold mobile phones, wallets, purses, etc.

This product has a front closure in the form of a YKK Zip.

BITE PROTECTION: This item has been tested for puncture resistance and has achieved level 3 which means that it can be described as bite protective clothing as it will also offer a level of protection against bites, scratches and pinches.  The level 3 tear resistance means that this top is extremely difficult to destroy either by the wearer or an attacker and can therefore save money, and embarrasment, in the long run. 

KNIFE PROTECTION: This product will help protect the wearer from slash type of injuries but is not classed as stab proof.  If you require full stab proof clothing then please take a look at our STAB PROOF BODY ARMOUR section
