Anti-slash hooded top in grey with Cut Resistant Lining

This smart and stylish Grey hooded top is lined with cut resistant fibre providing you with anti-slash and blade cut resistance and puncture resistance up to Level 3 (EN388; 2016 +A1:2018) which also protects the wearer from bites.  Apart from door and security staff it is important to consider social care workers and paramedics who often have to deal with distressed patients. This is why bite proof workwear can sometimes be essential.

Knife crime and mental health issues are very much in the news in these stressful times which is why our cut resistant bite resistant workwear has become so important..

As with all of our Bladerunner anti-slash clothing range we try to ensure that our products look as much like normal street clothing as possible. To touch or wear this protective hoodie is just like any other street wear item except that it offers you an extra layer of safety which could be crucial in a difficult situation.

The Hoodie is ideal for door security staff, under cover police officers, paramendics and social/care workers who sometimes have to deal with challenging patients and residents.

Our hooded tops have a cotton outer layer, just the same as a regular hooded top, and are extremely comfortable to wear and warm too but with a very relaxed look and feel about them. 

The middle layer is the woven aramid fibre that offers the cut, slash and bite resistance and the inner layer is a fine mesh to avoid contact with the skin and to protect the aramid fibre from colour fading due to direct sunlight 

Our hoodies have two outer pockets and a cotton drawstring for the hood.

This product has a front closure in the form of a YKK Zip.

All our hooded tops have has been tested to EN388; 2016+A1 2018 by a recognised British test house with the below results:

BITE RESISTANCE: This product has been tested by an authorised UK laboratory and achieved level 3 for puncture resistance under the above stated standard which will also offer protection from bites and scratches.

STAB RESISTANCE: This product is designed to help protect the wearer from knife cuts and slashes from any sharp item such as a blade or a shard of glass, but it is not stab-proof. If you require fuller stab protection then please review our stab-proof armour section.
